Devarim Institute put together a program to provide a gift or keepsake to the blind and visually impaired. It involves the simultaneous use of tactile graphics, pictures in braille dots, and Biblical passages in English with the addition of Hebrew if the requestor wishes.
The person requesting the psalm can pick any of the 150 that are part of the book of Psalms. The booklet created will open with a full page tactile graphic. It also ends with a full page tactile graphic.
The second page is divided into two segments. The bottom segment will provide a written description of the two graphics. The pictures will always have a connection to the psalm and that connection will be provided. The top is used for any dedications the requestor would like to make. Devarim will place that dedication into grade 1 braille.
The following pages will have the psalm first in grade 1 English braille and if the requestor would like we would then place the Hebrew braille of the psalm either with or without vowels, however the person would like it.
The last page will be a full page tactile graphic and the whole combination is spiral bound with covers and titles.
